Borders Scoring Plate

Good day my Friends,
You ask for it you got it 🙂 The new Border Scoring Plate in the spring catalog…..many ask me to make a video on how this work. Well to be honest with you all, the Holidays and renovation I didn’t had time to play with it till last week and so now that I did I got the video done right away. You will found out in the video many tips and trick to use this tool. The 3 most important thing is to take off the film on both side of the guide, use wax paper on your card stock and post-it note to hole your card stock all this will be in the video. One thing I have to warn you before you watch the video is the lightning was not cooperating with the view of the scoring, it’s hard to see the score that I was doing but on the picture of my card you can see much better the work of the Border Score. This card is super simple I use the Border Plate, Vanilla Card Stock, Wisteria Wonder, Wisteria Wonder Ribbon #122973, Punch Elegant butterfly #127526 that I emboss with Lacy Border folder #127819 and the stamp set Feel Good on page 21 of the spring catalog.

Hi France, I agree that the wax helps the stylis glide easier but if you want to stamp after you have embossed there may be a problem with resist for the inks. A tip I learned years ago was to rub the tip of the stylis on the waxed paper or on a white candle before embossing….it works well and you can don't have to leave the embossing until the end.

This looks like a pretty cool new product. Thanks for the video expaining it and for the tip about the wax paper, I've seen you do it before and now I'll have to remember to try that.

I was totally clueless about this board, and even a bit disappointed..but now..WOW!! Starting from removing the film on both sides( had no clue it was even there) to how to position it for a card…again thank you!!!
You are amazing and this is definitely a must see video for everyone!
