Lovely as a Tree Winter Scene with sponge Sunrise

 Hello Friends
Yes I know most of you are tired of winter but look how pretty it is....I share the sunrise picture a few weeks ago and many said OH! just like Lovely as a Tree well you know me I had to try to make a card that look like the lovely scenery. You will see in the video on my blog at www.frenchiestamps.com that it's just a little sponging, when you sponge DON'T judge the color till you stamps the trees. After you stamps the trees it change the scenery lots so before you say this is not right stamp the trees then you will see how pretty it is. The color that I use for the sponging are: Pool Party, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Marina Mist. The evergreen tree are stamp with Always the Artichoke and the "naked" trees are stamp with Early Espresso. Then to add the white snow I use acrylic white paint. * all in the video. When it's all dry using the Two Way Glue #100425  then sprinkle the Dazzling Diamonds #102023. Voila! You have a lovely card. This is so pretty that it would look great in a frame. FYI the stamp set Lovely as a Tree w#128655 c#127793  is one of the oldest set I think it is the oldest set in the Stampin'Up! catalog. It was release back in 2001 and it still a popular set after  13 years. Do you own this set? Again after so many years I'm sure you can find thousand of sample with this set plus it is so versatile it has that lovely Oak tree in this set so many possibility with this set. I sure love it.
This was the picture that I took one morning. It was so pretty this is one of the reason that I love to be up before the sun so I don't miss the beauty of the sunrise. YES I'm a morning person.

,
Have a great weekend! Be safe if you're in the path of the storm I think it's all the way from west to east stay warm and dry.
