Rustic 3-D Star

 Hello Friends
It's a Rustic Texan star....  well this card/video was done before I got the retired list and yes I use some of the product that are retired now but don't worry I will give you some alternate product to make my Texas Rustic start. When we started to look for a houses in TX I was shock on how many houses that have start in the front of them so after the second time down there I was determine to make a rustic star. It is very simple with the Star Framelits little scoring and embossing. You will see in the video on my blog or my You Tube Channel how simple it is well simple for a 3-D star.
Here the list of supplies that are not available anymore but we a replacement in case you do NOT have the one that I use.
-Early Espresso embossing powder replace with black **very little black
-Stamp set Hi There the new stamp set on page 110 Tin of Cards the wording on these greeting would look great for this card
-In color Sequin but check out page 160 the NEW Metallic Sequin I bet these would look even better.
-I will list all the supplies at the bottom the framelits, hardwood stamp, burlap all still available.

  1. Hi Frenchie! I really like your video on this rustic star! It has given me the idea of making a 4th of July birthday card for a friend of mine & a cousin who have their birthdays on the 4th. Instead, I would see about using red, white, or blue embossing powder or possibly all 3 colors but not have it rustic(??). I'll have to try that & see how the star turns out. Instead of the burlap ribbon & strings, use some 4th of July ribbon with maybe some red & white Baker's twine. I should be able to go different ways with that. Thanks for the idea I have in mind!
