Watercolor Vintage Leaves

Hello Stampers
Fall is in the air! I am sure for some the air is crisp and leaves are falling but for some it still in the high 80's but the morning are crisp so yes it is fall in the air. My favorite season for sure. so this card is perfect for this season. I saw Billie M card on facebook and right away it caught my eyes hers was in different color but I had to try this technique right away and VOILA! watercolor leaves. So simple stamp the leaves in color of your choice in this case I use Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry on watercolor paper. Soon you stamp the leave take the aqua painter and just blend the ink no need to add extra ink just "wash" the ink that you stamp and it will give you the look of wash leaves, I think it look like stain glass. Well after I was done I decided to try to add a light coat of Wink of Stella OH! how pretty then on the side of the card I score some line just to add a little texture to the card front. In the video yu will see it all from start to finish.
Measurement are
-Whisper White 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ *now on the long way only score the front so the bottom part at 3½, 3¾, 4 that are for the line on the right side of the front of the card
-Cajun Craze 5-3/8 x 2-5/8
-Watercolor paper 5¼ x 2½
-Cajun Craze circle 1½ or 1¾ and whisper white 1-3/8 or 1½ I did some in both size
I have all supplies at the bottom.

I have a video for you that you can find at the bottom of my blog post today on my blog HERE. ***If you are getting my post by e mail some server will NOT include the video so make sure to visit my blog to get all detail or you can always fin my video on my You Tube Channel.

Thank YOU Billie for the inspiration I love this technique.
Well my friends this is it for this Friday I will be back tomorrow with another pivot card stay tune.
The splatter is done with the aqua painter all shown in the video.

With the wink of Stella

  1. Very very pretty! And yes, I was taught early on that " there are no mistakes in stamping-only opportunities for embellishment"! 😉
