Hello Friends
welcome to the global Stamping Technique 101 blog hop. This month is is all about Monochromatic well don’t ask me to pronounce that is a tong twister for sure for me, if you watch the video you will understand that some words are no met to be said by me. 🙂
What is Monochromatic it is all the same color so for my take I use Soft Suede. I did a watercolor wash with soft suede for the background and stamp with soft suede the flowers and greeting only ONE ink color. Then I wanted to add a ribbon well I didn’t have a soft suede ribbon so I use the Very Vanilla and ink it with the soft suede ink so I manage to stay in all the same color. I did shoot a quick video so you will see how to color the ribbon and the color wash well from start to finish.

The video you can find at the bottom of my blog post today on my blog HERE. ***If you are getting my post by e mail some server will NOT include the video so make sure to visit my blog to get all detail or you can always fin my video on my You Tube Channel.

Measurement are
-Soft Suede 8½ x 5½ fold in half card base
-Soft Suede layer 3-5/8 x 5-1/8
-watercolor paper 3¾ x 5
-Very vanilla 5¼ x 4 inside insert
