Stamping Technique 101 with Frenchiestamps

Hello stampers
Welcome to the global Stamping Technique 101. This month it is all about Heat Embossing.

How many time you look for a specific color of embossing powder and get discourage cause you can NOT find the color powder you need.
Well no more worries if you got clear embossing powder and the color ink water base you are good to go. So Stampin'Up! have 48 color in water base ink including the in-color and you can use any of your ink color and emboss with them YES you can.
First ink your stamp in Versa Mark then into the color of your choice then onto the card stock and apply clear embossing color and heat emboss VOILA! you can emboss in all 48 colors. If you wish to emboss on glossy paper no need of the VersaMark color ink direct on glossy and clear powder and emboss. (this is NOT counting the White ink cause white is craft/pigment ink so you can emboss with this without any extra step.)

I have a video for you that you can find at the bottom of my blog post today on my blog HERE. ***If you are getting my post by e mail some server will NOT include the video so make sure to visit my blog to get all detail or you can always find my video on my You Tube Channel.

  3. Another super tip, Frenchie! The stamp set didn't catch my eye in the SU book but seeing it on a card puts it on my "got to have" list.
