Happy 4th Have some Cool Treats

4th of July, Cool Treats, Red White and Blue, Stampin'Up!

Happy 4th of July to Y'All!
Today is all about cool treats and red, white and blue.
When I think of 4th of July I think of Freedom because of the braves, firer works, picnic, BBQ and some cool treat that come to mind so I decided to make a quick card with the cool treat framelits.

4th of July, Cool Treats, Red White and Blue, Stampin'Up!

The Happy is from the Happy Birthday thinlits and the Large Number framelits for 4 and only use the little banner and the TH in the Number by year stamp set. The emboss star I color with the wink of Stella.

4th of July, Cool Treats, Watermelon punch art, Red White and Blue, Stampin'Up!

The watermelon I cut ½ of the 1¾ circle sponge the bottom in Garden Green, then I punch out 1½ circle and place it on top of my half circle so I could sponge the red and keep portion white. The little seed are free hand tear drop. For the "Bite" I use the framelits in the cool tree the bottom of the ice cream  scoop and VOILA! you have your watermelon with a bite or 2 missing :)

For the Popsicle for the handle I use the Wood Texture paper and cut one set using white card stock and sponge the color  real red and tempting turquoise. I use a post it note to mask the part I wanted to keep white.

Measurement
-Whisper White 8½ x 5½ fold in half card base

  1. Frenchie,
You are a genius!! I never would have thought to use the bottom of the ice cream to make a bite mark. Great patriotic card!!
