Wild Watercolor with Awesomely Artistic and Birthday Blooms

Wild Watercolor, Crafting Forever, Awesomely Artistic, Birthday Blooms, Stampin'Up!
Hello Stampers
Well the weather still blahhh so time to bring the flower inside my craft room to live and these wild watercolor is just what I needed to bright up my room so no matter what is the weather outside inside my room it is pretty flower that put a smiles on my face.
Again Barb share some on her card with our team and she inspired me to use the Birthday Blooms for the wild watercolor. I did a video about a year ago if you miss the video or need a little refresher course CLICK HERE to view.
I bet you wondering where is that Terracotta pot come from I use the pot in Crafting Forever only ink that pot with Cajun Craze and then watercolor with ink and aqua painter or a plain brush with water and ink.

This technique is very addictive for me, I did one then 2 then 3 and so on so more to come.
My best advice is stamp and watercolor and let dry then decide if you need to add more stamp image or and water to the image. The flower from Birthday blooms I add to do in about 4 section stamp color let dry and add more and more if I try to add too much color at once it just run down. When it was all done I use the Early Espresso markers to add the little line and dots in the center of the flower.

-Whisper White 8½ x 5½
-Early Espresso 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
-Watercolor paper 5 x 3¾

This is the same except I didn't add the big flower in just the fern from Awesomely Artistic, a little more easy but I love that I use the marker to make the crack in the pot so it look more realistic.
Again best advice is watercolor a bit let dry and add more.
-Whisper White 8½ x 5½
-Cajun Craze 5¼ x 4
-Watercolor paper 5 x 3¾
***If you are new to Wild Watercolor I would say the fern one is the perfect one to get started.

  1. Frenchie you make my day when I see your e-mail first thing in the morning and I drink my coffee! It makes me want to jump I to my craft room and create.A big thanks❣

  2. Love all of them! so cheery. Love the detail of the crack in the pot on the fern cards, too.

  3. The crack in the flower pot added so much...it's those clever tricks you do that make your cards so special, Frankie...haven't tried water coloring yet even tho I've been making cards for a long time...think it's time to give it a try!
