Coloring with Alcohol and ink
Crumb Cake card stock
Video on how to

Hello Friends
Another technique that I learn from Jill one of my team mate. I know I say this often but will say it again I love MY TEAM they make my job so enjoyable and I know if you would join us you would find it very enjoyable.  If you are interested to join our team CLICK HERE for the most question and answer and to join, always feel free to contact me. Just a little FYI if you choose to join in you can pick from the Holiday catalog (this is only starting on Sept to all customer but demo got a perk to get first)for your starter kit How to choose from the Holiday catalog and you don't have it on hand yet well it is a section for the new release.
Okay back to this technique it is color with alcohol and ink. I use the 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol and the Stampin'Up! ink. I put the alcohol in my aqua painter and color just like I would with water but the beauty of alcohol it is dry quick and the paper don't absorb it like water plus the color are more vivid. 3 important things is the stamp image use the memento ink so it will not smear,  I would use a layer in the back of my stamp/color image cause the color will show in the back. Do not leave the alcohol in the aqua painter wash it after you are done with you are done with your roject to preserve your brush. I did this card on Crumb Cake and the color are very bright love it.
Now want to learn how visit my You Tube Channel or at the bottom on my blog post today

  1. Could you not put your ink on a block and draw your paint from there? That way you wouldn't contaminate your ink pad. Pretty note card and technique. I'll have to try it.
