Black Ice on Silver Foil

Black Ice Technique, Heartfelt Blooms, Stampin'Up!, Frenchie Stamps

Hello Stampers
I know spring is in the air but today it is all about Black Ice on silver Foil. The Heartfelt Blooms stamp set from sale a bration is awesome for this technique but many other stamp set is great also. I use the Beautiful YOU with a splash of color and later this month will share the High Tide with a splash of glitter. This is such a fun and WOW technique. If my notes are correctly Melisa Kerman is the original design for this technique.
It can be a messy technique but it worth the inky fingers.
I experiment a few different way and I explain it all in the video.
I have a video for you that you can find at the bottom of this blog post or on my Youtube Channel.

Foil paper is so hard to photograph so to see the true beauty of this technique I will say "You have to give it a try" and trust me on this one these picture are no showing the result.

These one I just did the Archical black NO Veramark and clear embossing and I still love the look on it. It not the true black ice but still a very striking card. The clear embossing is what make it look like the ice.

Measurement for Beautiful YOU
-Basic Gray 8½ x 5½
-Basic Black 5½ x 1
-Dapper Denim 3¾x 4¾
-Silver Foil 3½ x 4½
This one is a little different. I did the streak of Archival Black then I stamp the lady with Archival black emboss with clear then using the blends to add the color wait a little so the blends are dry then drag the versamark and emboss with the clear embossing powder.
